Sailing Season

Temps in the 40s (pushing 50) today. All I can think about now is sailing.

But, it's a frustrating time of year. Then the MN weather toilet flushes and we're thrust back into winter. This usually happens some time around April. MN Natives claim that March is spring.

No. It isn't.

March is still winter. Wise people will not make life-changing decisions in March in Minnesota if they know what's good for 'em. The official start of spring as far as I'm concerned is the first 70 degree day. And that usually doesn't happen until mid-May. Though if Al Gore is right, we should be seeing 70 any day now.

Comments

In Galveston it's 65 and winds from the west @ 12 knts. Tide is low so I can't go.
Fair Winds, blue water.

So what you're sayin' is...we've all got something better we could be doing ;>
